Art is a 2023 ONEVOICE AWARDS Nominee and a 2024 SOVAS Judge. He happily resides in Los Angeles. His official job duties involve locking himself in a padded room and talking to imaginary people.

Art has been a Professional Actor, Singer and Standup Comedian for a long, long time. As a matter of fact, Art’s first acting teacher was John Wilkes Booth! Born and raised in Brooklyn, Art’s performed off-Broadway, in National Tours and in Comedy clubs around the country. A big part of standup/improv being characters and accents – Art gets the rhythm, music, and humor in your prose.

So far, he’s narrated around 50 audiobooks, ranging from gritty crime novels such as “American Trash”, “Savage Brooklyn”, “The Good Samaritan”, “Furlough”, and “Ruthless Alliance”, historical novels like, “Unmasking the Klansman”, “Birth of the White Man” and “Full Circle” (soon to be released memoir of a Holocaust Survivor). He’s recorded for Tantor, Audivita, Deyan, Ahab, Findaway, and others.

Art has also dubbed a number of Netflix shows, voiced Animation characters, and narrates a number of youtube channels.

His Home Studio includes a Neumann TLM 103 mic, Volt 276, Adobe Audition, SourceConnect, two cats, and a Teddy-bear named Mel.

Besides decades as an entertainer, Art has also had a career as a technical trainer and programmer – good to know if you need someone to narrate your technical or scientific material.
