Barbara is a voice actor and sound designer hailing from the high desert of Oregon in Bend where her solar-powered recording studio has been custom built to be naturally sound-proofed by the earth for exceptional audio quality. She has had her finger in just about every voiceover genre there is with favorite projects being a 7-part animated series with the violinist Midori and just about any audiobook that she can make her way into. She is also an avid sound designer for theater and audio projects. In her spare time, she performs on-stage either in whatever theatrical production she can win an audition for, sings with local choral and vocal jazz groups, and takes frequent walks, plays on the river or goes traveling with her dog and her family…not necessarily in that order.
