DeBorah Pryor is an accomplished actor and audiobook narrator with more than 20 years of professional experience across stage, screen, and narration. A union member since 1984, her career began in television and theater, where she developed the performance foundation that continues to inform her work behind the microphone today in niches such as videogames, medical narration, political commercials and of course, audiobooks.

Her voice has been described as smooth as velvet, with the ability to shift effortlessly into razor-sharp street or urban tones when a story calls for grit, edge, or raw authenticity. Shakespearean-trained, DeBorah brings classical discipline, emotional depth, and precision to every performance, while remaining natural, present, and engaging. She is also comfortable performing in British and Southern American accents, expanding the range of characters she can authentically portray.

DeBorah works across a wide spectrum of audiobook genres. She is especially passionate about children’s literature, having voiced beloved classics such as The Velveteen Rabbit, and served as the narrator for the popular Tales of Magical Cats...Dogs...and Fairies... from Around the World series. She also excels in self-help, memoirs, and sci-fi thrillers, approaching each genre with clarity, empathy, and storytelling nuance.

In addition to her narration work, DeBorah is the President of LET’S TALK VO, LLC and a respected demo coach to aspiring voice actors. Through her coaching and production work, she has helped produce nearly 500 professional voiceover demos, guiding talent toward industry-ready performances and sustainable careers.
