RATE: $150PFH

2. Scope of Work
Narrator agrees to perform a full narration of the Work professionally and consistently; follow Company direction and pronunciation guides; deliver raw punch-and-roll WAV files without compression, normalization, or mastering; and make unlimited revisions to correct pronunciation errors, reading errors or missed words, performance inconsistencies, or technical issues. Narrator will maintain consistent tone, pace, and recording quality.

3. Company Responsibilities
Company will provide the final manuscript and notes, review feedback promptly, handle post-production (unless otherwise agreed), and pay per Section 4.

4. Payment Terms
Rate: $150 per finished hour (PFH).
Payment within 45 days of final delivery and acceptance unless otherwise agreed in writing. No royalties, residuals, or additional payments are due beyond the stated compensation unless agreed by written addendum.

5. Revisions and Retakes
Unlimited at no charge for errors in reading, pronunciation, omissions, or technical issues. Changes due to new content or creative direction after final approval may be billed separately at a mutually agreed rate.

6. Ownership and Rights (No Narrator Rights)
All recordings created under this Agreement are “works made for hire” under 17 U.S.C. §101. All right, title, and interest in and to the recordings—including copyright, performance rights, and usage rights—belong exclusively to the author, author successors, and assigns. Narrator does not retain and hereby waives any and all rights to the recordings, including any right of reuse, reproduction, distribution, public performance, royalties, residuals, or derivative use. 

7. Confidentiality
Narrator will keep all manuscripts, materials, communications, and recordings strictly confidential and not disclose or publish any portion without written permission.

8. Credit
Company may credit Narrator as “Narrated by ${data.name}” unless otherwise directed.

9. Independent Contractor
Narrator is an independent contractor, not an employee. Narrator is solely responsible for taxes, insurance, and legal compliance.

10. Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach with written notice. If terminated, Narrator will be compensated only for approved work completed to the termination date.

11. Miscellaneous
This Agreement is the entire understanding and supersedes prior discussions. Amendments must be in writing and signed by both parties. Governed by the laws of [Your State]. If any provision is invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Parties agree to attempt mediation in good faith before litigation.
