SUMMARY

This is my story - the story of a girl who was, and still is, broken. For years, I kept my past a secret, afraid of being judged - or worse, blamed. Our past does not define our future, but silence can destroy us.

The Girl Who Kept Breathing is proof that even in the darkest moments - when it feels impossible to survive - we can. I wrote this book because someone out there - maybe you - needs to know you're not alone.

If you've ever felt broken, forgotten, neglected, or as if the very air has been stolen from your lungs, I hope these words remind you that there is always another breath, another way forward - as a survivor, not a victim.
