Barbara Henslee is a native Texan whose mature voice is described as soft, warm and folksy. She is passionate about helping those who struggle with reading the printed word have access to literature and open a world of imagination.

Genres she enjoys narrating are non fiction, memoirs, womens fiction, historical fiction and cozy mysteries. Stories she’d like to narrate are classics, thrillers and suspense.

Publishers she has worked for are Hachette, Blackstone, Pacific Press, Audiobook Empire, and boutique publishers along with independent authors.

Barbara is also an indie author with published short stories and novellas. And, she makes a mean banana pudding.
