Hi, I’m Carly! I’m a Gen-Z/Millennial actor based in East Tennessee who is obsessed with unraveling mysteries. I want to understand the “why” and the “how.” How did the bad guy outsmart the hero? Why did the love interest choose someone else? How did I not see the plot twist coming? It’s why I’ve seen the 1985 cinematic masterpiece “Clue” approximately 35 times (and counting!). The combination of humorous mystery and the incredible ensemble of larger than life (yet fascinatingly realistic) characters just scratches an itch in my brain!

My passion for deciphering led me to get a degree in Industrial Engineering, where I learned that the secret to being a great engineer isn’t being good at math— it’s creating and fostering genuine human connections. I had the pleasure of working with people from all over the world, who led lives vastly different from my own. Connecting and collaborating with these people allowed me to have a successful career as an engineer and continues to serve me today as an actor.

Outside the booth, I’m a D&D Dungeon Master, Dog Mom to my rescue pups Zoey and Jesper, and a chronic Sarah J. Maas novel re-reader (I’m a sucker for Romantasy!).

As both a narrator and avid reader, I’m drawn to YA, Fantasy, Mystery, and Rom Com stories where I can utilize my youthful, warm, and compelling voice. I particularly love stories that allow me to explore complicated and dynamic characters and bring the joy I feel when reading to the microphone.

My Home Studio is equipped with a SYNCO Mic-D2 Hyper cardioid XLR microphone, Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface, and I use both Reaper and Audacity (though I prefer Reaper). My studio is a converted closet with acoustic blankets and bass traps.
