ABOUT
Catherine brings over 35 years of professional acting and improvisation experience to her narration. Her nurturing and knowledgeable voice, along with her strong, grounded character work, creates an insightful and authentic listening experience. Plus, she's just plain fun to work with.
Author Shonna Slayton says it best: "There is so much that I love about Catherine, but most of all is the joy in her voice as she reads. Scratch that, she’s not just reading, she’s performing with all her heart."
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Catherine obtained her BA in Theatre from SF State University, marking the start of a 35+ year career as a professional actress and voice over artist. In addition, she holds an MFA in Acting/Directing (obtained at age 50!) She has extensive experience touring educational theatre throughout Northern California with Kaiser Permanente, around the Pacific Northwest with Taproot Theatre Company (Seattle, WA) and soon as a Kentucky Humanities Chautauqua presenter, performing as Mary Todd Lincoln (coming in Fall 2025).
Recent regional theatre roles include "Murder on the Orient Express" (Helen Hubbard) at Cortland Repertory Theatre (Finger Lakes, NY), "The Cake" (Della), AthensWest (Lex, KY), "Holes" (The Warden) with Lexington Children’s Theatre, and "The Sound of Music" (Frau Schmidt) The Lexington Theatre Company.
Currently, she narrates from her home studio in the beautiful Bluegrass region of Kentucky, whenever she isn’t binging "Ted Lasso" with her husband and crazy cat.
