Raised in a radio family, she has a professional speaking voice and a lifelong passion for reading and language. She is a proficient public speaker with a clear alto voice and an absolute obsession with clear and correct pronunciation. Born and raised in South Louisiana, Chrissy has a degree in Speech Communications from Newcomb College of Tulane University in New Orleans and is an amateur actress/singer in local community theatre. She personally enjoys true crime books and suspense novels, and her voice is versatile and well-suited for a variety of genres including fiction, non-fiction, crime, mystery, thrillers, romance, technical, and children's.
