Erin is a nonfiction audiobook narrator who also specializes in character work and narration for full cast productions, all from her home studio in Oakland, CA – the Sunny Side of the Bay.

She comes from a long line of teachers and preachers - effectively performers - the kind of people who like to be the ones on stage doing the talking, slinging ideas. Narrating nonfiction is that for her. Erin loves teaching people about things, and crafting the way ideas come off a page so that the message pops and feels personal at the same time. Nerd. Let her teach you something or tell you about something great - all day.

Her work over the past 6 years has been mainly full cast productions, asynchronously narrating and voicing a wide range of characters across nearly 40 projects. Erin is drawn to the more dramatic roles- bringing out the unexpected sides of a character, the humor, the subtle fears, the masked cruelty … be they human or not. In many ways first person nonfiction is character work as well. It falls right in that sweet spot.

With training from the Berkeley Repertory School of Theater in voice over, improv, acting and dialect - RP, French & German, Erin has also completed Joel Froomkin’s Acting for Audio 1&2, Sean Pratt's Nonfiction Course, Narrator.life classes and an abundance of workshops and coaching. She also co-manages BANG! the Bay Area Narrator’s Group.

She is a mom, fandom fanatic and food truck enthusiast whose favorite color is piñata. Erin curls (think ice and stones) and has been a college radio DJ, driven a crane in the Port of Oakland and did a 4 year stint as a 6’4 green cougar mascot.
