ABOUT
BIO
I am a native Brit, theatre director, producer, and classically-trained actor who has happily found my home in Los Angeles and in the world of audiobooks. I have been the Artistic Director of theatre companies in London and New York and bring my theatre-honed instincts to audiobook narration and audiobook direction. I pair sharp storytelling with a deep commitment to collaboration, and am always focused on serving the author's voice. I thrive in the creative trenches with fellow artists, aiming to create performances that are honest, dynamic, and truly engaging. I maintain a professional home studio for remote recording and am also available for in-studio sessions when required. I am a Full Member of SDC (the theatre directors union) and am SAG/AFTRA Eligible.
My musical training—as a vocalist with the Philharmonia Chorus and principal clarinetist with the Lawyers Symphony Orchestra—gives me deep insight into classical music biographies and historical music literature. My near-path to law school, a happy miss, informs my understanding of psychological, crime, legal, espionage, and political thrillers. Theatre, film, and TV appreciation shape my approach to contemporary fiction and screen adaptations. As a proud dog dad to Milo and member of GMCLA, I bring an authentic perspective to LGBTQ+ narratives and animal-centered stories. And my passion for travel and seeking out new eateries naturally connects me to travel memoirs, culinary nonfiction, and food writing.
