ABOUT
Jess has been a book lover since the moment she figured out how to read. When she was 11, she accidentally kickstarted a lifelong obsession with Stephen King after pulling Salem’s Lot off the shelf while her parents weren’t paying attention. One time, right out of college, she managed to meet him, but she stood there, totally starstruck with her mouth open, until he said, “WHAT?!” So far, he has not written about her.
She was introduced to audiobooks at 12, when her father lost his eyesight to diabetes and started getting “Books on Tape” from the Library for the Blind. She was fascinated by the storytelling, which eventually led her to narration.
She enjoys narrating across many genres, but when she's off the clock and reading for pleasure, she gravitates toward thrillers, suspense, historical fiction, historical non-fiction, and (shocker) anything by Stephen King. Her dream is to some day narrate one of his books. (Hey, Steve… if you’re out there… call her. She's been prepping since middle school.)
She works in her home studio in Nashville, TN, and when she's not working, she's snuggling with two of the cutest pit bulls you’ve ever seen, raising money for good causes, or watching mind-rotting trash on TV.
