Julia is a British narrator, born in Luton in Bedfordshire, close to London. She has a native RP accent with a hint of Estuary. Her love for reading started as a child and she studied English Language and Literature at university. She was always drawn to acting though, so she trained as an actor. She worked professionally for 7 years, performing in a variety of Shakespeare plays, children's theatre and short films. She then took a break from her career to start a family. In 2015 she decided to combine my love of reading and acting and started narrating audiobooks and she has now narrated over 60 books. She is passionate about telling stories and bringing characters to life.

Julia is an animal lover and vegan and is the carer of a senior (14 yr old) pug.She is also mum to a neurodiverse child and has knowledge of ADHD, Dyspraxia and Sensory Processing Disorder. She is interested in history and historical fiction particularly British history from the Tudor Period up until World War 2. She is keen on astronomy and star gazing.
