I’m Nicole Fikes, a SOVAS-nominated narrator with a growing number of well-reviewed titles across a variety of genres. I was recently selected from over 600 auditions to perform as a featured narrator on Penguin Random House’s Clubhouse. After years of heads-down training as a voice actor, it felt like the right time to reach out and introduce myself.

Genre-wise, I adore a good rom-com and am very at home with dystopian, urban fantasy, or a good, gritty mystery. I’m from Texas, so Southern accents are in my wheelhouse when called for, and I record material a little on the more spicy side under my pseudonym Gemma Grant.

For nonfiction, I bring real-world experience from running my own advertising business for over a decade, and I’m also a parent to a neurodivergent teen - thus, I’m particularly at home with the topics of entrepreneurship, marketing, parenting, ADHD, and autism.

I’m detail-oriented, love to prep (I even had an author do a whole blog post about it once). I have an engineer-approved home studio and an enthusiastic following on TikTok as well.
