Peter J Matthews is a vocally versatile narrator and classically trained actor. His soft English RP voice lends itself to a variety of genres - his favourites being YA, Fantasy, Sci-fi, Detective Mysteries and anything that requires some wry British humour.

Peter excels at creating character voices and is proficient in almost all regional UK dialects and many international accents. However his clear tones and natural curiosity are also well suited to the subtleties of non-fiction reads.

He works from his professional home studio in rural Bedfordshire, where he lives with his wife and two children. Outside the booth he plays Cricket, enjoys long walks in the countryside, loves cinema and still finds time to take on the occasional stage role.
