Sion Dayson is an American voice actor and narrator based in Valencia, Spain. Her warm, rich alto is perfect for a range of nonfiction titles, from those requiring the clear, commanding authority of the expert to topics seeking a kind, friendly guide.

She has a natural curiosity and compassion and loves nothing more than discovering the beating heart of a story and sharing information with the world.

Sion is a world-traveler herself, having studied in Ghana and Mexico, residing in France for a decade (where she became a French citizen), and now making her home on the Mediterranean coast.

Her intercultural experience – she was a sociology and anthropology major in college, too! – along with her interests in wellness, self-development, and empowerment lend itself to titles on travel, relationships, entrepreneurship, society and cultural issues, among many others.

Sion also enjoys narrating children’s books. For nearly 50 years her mother worked as a librarian. Little surprise then, that reading and storytelling were her childhood’s most essential ingredients. She loves opening this world of excitement and knowledge to younger readers, from fanciful picture books to middle grade nonfiction titles.

With a background as an award-winning author who holds an MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts, Sion understands the care and craft that goes into an author’s every word and considers it a privilege to give voice to a writer’s vision.

Sion has narrated 150 titles for Blinkist, an app that condenses the key takeaways from bestselling books into engaging summaries. Her Blinkist credits include titles by Michelle Obama, Robin Sharma, Brene Brown, and many more.

She's also an experienced eLearning and audio description narrator. She's voiced projects for clients including LG, Business Spotlight, Pearson, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Iberian Media, and more.

When not in her recording booth, Sion loves living room dance parties, playing with her Persian cat, and chowing down at the latest local eateries.
