SUMMARY

Set in the 24th century against a backdrop of an Earth altered by climate change, flooding,

fires and pandemics, the human population has been decimated but has, as always, rallied. Airships buzz the skies and sailing vessels crew the immense seas connecting the peoples of New Earth. The decreased population of people has spawned the strong trade of human trafficking for workers to add to the wealth of the fortunate. KAT WALLACE is a young woman stolen from her home in the North Country and enslaved on the island of Bellcoast.

She successfully escapes the island by stowing away on an airship that is piloted by TEDDY

BOSCH, the Master Commander of Bosch, an independent pirate nation. The Bosch took up pirating over a century before as escaped slaves. They settled on a large island near the Central Continent where they discovered the drug Glitter, now the main export of Bosch and a lucrative business.
