Summary
Sam, age 11, is an eager explorer around the farm where he lives in rural Indiana during the 1930’s. His cousin Howie, age 10, comes for a relaxing visit. This visit soon turns into a hair-raising adventure as they explore an abandoned log cabin and make a gruesome discovery…a human skeleton in an abandoned tunnel…and, dangling from the bony hand of the skeleton is a large piece of metal in the shape of a horseshoe with forged icons on the surface.
Is this skeleton a result of a murder? Why is the bony hand holding a large horseshoe with icons forged on the surface? Are the icons clues that will answer these questions?
Two strange men are also interested to find a solution to this mystery. They constantly threaten and harass Sam and Howie. Why do these men want the horseshoe? Do they believe the clues forged on the metal will lead to something valuable?
Will Sam and Howie find a solution to this mystery before the strange men? Follow along with these two young lads who are determined to find a solution to The Giant Horseshoe Mystery.
