ABOUT
Jane's skill at bringing characters to life and vast experience with all types of narration mean your audiobook is in very safe hands and her broadcast standard home studio and audio production skills mean your project will be delivered with faultless quality.
One of the first long form projects she completed was recording ‘A Queen From The North’ by Erin McRae & Racheline Maltese, a full cast audiobook project for Pagewater Publishing in New York. Jane was asked to be the narrator and play two of the main characters in the story - and to add icing to the cake - the audiobook was nominated for the prestigious SOVAS (Society of Voice Arts and Sciences) awards!
Since then, she has recorded stories ranging from children’s books to Sci Fi and Romance - and everything in between.
As a fully trained and skilful actor, Jane is able to breathe life into a huge array of characters and understands how important it is to create a listening experience that transports the audience to another world. She loves hearing the excited feedback from an author when they start listening to the characters they have long had living inside their head, come alive, as their voices are captured.
Jane is also highly experienced with recording non fiction writing and her work as a daily narrator for the NOA news app means she can deliver exactly the right tone and style your book needs. From informative and trustworthy to light hearted and amusing - Jane will adapt her narration to suit the project perfectly.
Producing an audiobook is a collaboration between author and narrator and I will work closely with you to ensure the finished product sounds exactly the way you imagine it.
