Lori was trained for work in the Voice Over career field by Julie Eickhoff of the Online School for Voice Over. Julie described Lori's voice as such: Authentic, Believable, Casual, Conversational, Down-to-Earth, Friendly, Gentle, Grounded, Gracious, Knowledgeable, Mature, Neighborly, Reliable, Steady, Soft, Soothing, and Trustworthy.

Lori was also advised that she was "best suited" for the following types of projects: Audiobooks, Business Presentations, Education/eLearning, Explainer Videos, POD Casting Intros, and Telephone Systems.

Since graduating from school, Lori has been doing some "non-profit" work, as well as completing a number of "paid" projects - audiobooks on ACX.
