SUMMARY

As the wife of a former NYPD officer indicted in one of the largest police corruption scandals ever, I have the inside story on how it feels to be a police officer hunted down by the Internal Affairs Division. This is a true story of the personal experiences and tribulations of one rogue cop. The Buddy Boys were a ruthless group of police officers and commanders from the 77th precinct in the Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights ghetto neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York who worked the night shift and practiced street justice while living on the brink of insanity.

This book describes how easy it is to get caught up in police corruption, how only “rats” break the blue wall of silence and how police officers are treated when they get arrested. Spanning over 30 years, follow the path of one police officer from his graduation from the NYPD academy to his indictment. Never before told stories of real police brutality, drinking and drug dealing and use on the job and unbelievable escapades of the crooked cop ring fill the pages with disgust and even humor. Learn what it feels like to try to function in society as a rogue cop and how this one finally recovers.
