Important Audiobook Production Updates - Narrator Ideas Accepted

Hello wonderful narrator partners.

On Feb 2nd we announced upcoming changes to e-Audio Productions. One of the changes is the partial rebranding from e-Audio Productions to Audiobook Voices. Along with the rebranding, there will be more production options for narrators to be able to receive higher PFH rates and also for authors to have more flexible options for production.

Keep in mind, we are exploring additional options and none of these are yet set. Narrators will always have the right to choose which production modules they want to audition for. The options we have down right now are the following. Author clients will have the option to choose one of the following production options.

As you know, working with e-Audio Productions it a partnership between us to produce great sounding audiobooks. e-Audio Productions is not your client but your partner. It isn't what e-Audio pays but what the client/author/RH pays. As partners, we would like to consider the ideas of narrators for additional production modules. See below Option 1 and Option 2 which are additional options we are exploring and please feel free to send us your ideas. A little poll has been set to gather narrator opinions on the two new options we are considering to add. Please answer the poll further below. All votes will remain anonymous.

STANDARD E. PRODUCTIONS REMAIN

Standard E Productions where narrators deliver raw punch n roll files will also remain as is with already agreed rates.

OPTION 1 - NARRATOR DELIVERS COMPLETE PRODUCTION INSIDE E-AUDIO PRODUCTIONS

Authors request casting call or shortlist narrators from within our website. Authors receive a list of audiobook auditions along with the rate PFH with each narrator. Narrator sets his own rate with a $300PFH max.

Author will select a narrator based on rate/budget and voice.

Production will be monitored by e-Audio Productions within e-Audio Productions platform.

Narrator must deliver completed ACX ready productions but e-Audio Productions will do a final ACX check.

Narrator Compensation: Narrator will receive payment from e-Audio Productions based on the set PFH rate.

e-Audio Compensation: e-Audio Productions will add a 20% to the rate which will be paid by the client. So, example, if a narrator sets a rate at $250PFH, the client will pay 250+20% = $300PFH

OPTION 2 - CASTING ONLY

Authors request casting service and receive a list of audiobook auditions along with the rate PFH with each narrator. Narrator sets his own rate with no limit.

Author will select a narrator based on rate/budget and voice.

The selected narrator will take the production outside of e-Audio Productions and is responsible to deliver the completed production to the author.

Narrator Compensation: Narrator will receive payment directly from the author.

e-Audio Compensation: Selected narrator pays a non refundable 10% of the estimated total to e-Audio prior to receiving a connection with the author.
