Many times authors and publishers prefer an audition casting instead of spending time going through our list of narrators to find a voice they may like. This saves them time.

We post those auditions here.

SUMMARY

The author doesn’t just talk about resilience, she embodies it. Her life has been a constant test: Battling rejection, carrying loneliness, and wrestling with the feeling of never being enough. Then came the biggest card of all, stage four cancer. But instead of folding, she fought back. With grit, discipline, and unshakable belief, she became the first Black woman to graduate from U.S. Army Ranger School—one of the military’s toughest leadership crucibles—and the first Ranger-qualified woman to earn the rank of Sergeant Major in just 14 years of service. Even while undergoing radiation treatments, she qualified for the Boston Marathon and ran a 75-mile ultramarathon. Today, she speaks across the country, showing others how to take the cards they’ve been dealt and turn them into a winning hand…Because your mindset, not your circumstance, will always define your future.
